Welcome to Swanage Fish & Food Festival!
We had a wonderful celebration of seafood, local produce and community spirit at the Swanage Fish & Food Festival 2026 on Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th June.
Thank you to everyone who supported us this year; volunteers, sponsors, local producers & artisans, musician, our charities, Swanage businesses who entered the spirit with fabulous window dressings and of course our followers and visitors.
We are tidying up loose ends from this year and have already started planning for next year, so pop these dates into your diary!

Fun For All The Family
Join us for a weekend of seaside fun, delicious food, and family entertainment at the Swanage Fish & Food Festival, taking place 5-6 June 2027 at Sandpit Field, overlooking beautiful Swanage Bay and the Isle of Wight.
Celebrate Local Food, Drink & Craft
Showcasing the very best of Swanage and Purbeck businesses and talent, the festival offers something for everyone. Enjoy a variety of fresh local seafood — from fish, cockles, mussels, and scallops to a celebratory glass of champagne!
There will also be plenty of tasty non-fish dishes and lighter meals for children, ensuring everyone can join the feast.
Live Chef Demonstrations
Watch top Dorset chefs take to the stage with live cooking demonstrations, showing you how to create that perfect seafood dish at home. It’s a fantastic opportunity to pick up expert tips while sampling the vibrant food scene of Swanage.
Family Fun with Little Fishes
Our dedicated Little Fishes children’s area is packed with crafts, games, and creative activities for children to enjoy under parent supervision — the perfect family day out by the sea.
The Artisan Tent Returns
Explore the exciting Artisan Tent, featuring a mix of local crafts, arts, and specialist foods. Discover the creativity and skill of Dorset makers and find something truly unique to take home.
Free Entry & Stunning Location
The festival is free to attend and held at Sandpit Field, a picturesque public space overlooking Swanage Bay — the ideal setting for a weekend of food, fun, and community spirit.

Our Mission Statement
The Swanage Fish and Food Festival is a not-for-profit organisation run entirely by volunteers, dedicated to hosting a two-day free festival in Swanage. Our mission is to bring together visitors and the local community to celebrate a diverse array of fine food and drink, enjoy cooking demonstrations, and experience live music, all while supporting a selection of nominated charities.
